A Little Vintage creator, Jennie makes one of a kind stitched artworks, wearable textiles, fungi sculptures and hand painted dolls. She has made custom dolls for The Museum of Australian Democracy and also for the V&A touring exhibition 'David Bowie Is' in Melbourne. The dolls are all hand drawn, then painted. With the likes of David Bowie, Freddie Mercury and Frida Kahlo etc. They can be made from your own sentimental items like your children's old baby clothes or grandparent's special linens. The doll and fungi stuffing is made from recycled plastic bottles, preventing at least 14 bottles from going to landfill per doll!! The thread drawn artworks and cassette tapes are completely stitched - almost like painting with thread! Jennie plants the fabric fungi in repurposed vintage ceramics and on top of spools & little thimbles.
